With the proposal to contribute to the scientific scenario, this edition of the Global Academic Nursing Journal has articles that strengthen the practice of evidence-based Nursing, with themes that permeate the applicability of the Nurse activities score, as well as the benefit of guidelines and application of the Nursing process in the perioperative period. The themes contemplate care, teaching and extension, which enables the dissemination of fundamental content for Nursing and the population as a whole. The academic contributions present in this volume collaborate with teaching practices, improve educational scientific dissemination in our national territory, in addition to allowing access to information that strengthens the Nursing work process. Looking at biopsychosocial interactions is extremely necessary, that is, looking at the human being as a whole, realizing their beliefs and values.
