As recommended by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) and always following good editorial and research practices in the Health Area, as well as the Science update flow, concurrently with the Open Science movement - which we celebrate this week October 2021 -, I announce this new issue, Supplement 1, dedicated to approved expanded abstracts, presented - and some awarded -, in recognized scientific events in the Health Areas. May this issue arouse the interest of authors for the next issues Supplements of expanded abstracts, as well as other journals, as a way to disseminate good practices and new trends in the world of scientific publishing. When submitting/presenting an abstract in a scientific event, the Annals of the event are generated, which is not scientific publication, but academic participation. In this way, any expanded abstract presented and scientific event can be submitted to the Global Academic Nursing Journal for possible publication. We continue with our commitment to Science, to Scientific Publishing, to Education, to the Academic Community and to Society. Congratulations to the authors!
