Health events that affect the cardiovascular system are, every day, a challenge for health professionals, even though this system is studied on a large scale. Heart diseases are constantly adapting, and the form of detection, diagnosis, treatment and management follow these changes in order to prevent complications and secondary comorbidities. In this sense, science needs to be constantly improving in search of improvements in comorbidities of the cardiovascular system, as these diseases are the ones that cause the most morbidity and mortality worldwide. Given the exposed relevance, this edition of the Global Academic Nursing Journal is dedicated to studies focused on Cardiology.
