Abstract

The aim was to understand the interventions performed by Brazilian nursing in disorders resulting from breastfeeding. It is an integrative review, which selected articles through the Virtual Health Library, and PUBMED databases. The selection period for the articles was from 2014 to 2018. The descriptors used in the search were: nursing, breastfeeding and milk, with the Booleans AND being applied among them. 293 articles were found, of these 16 met the inclusion criteria. The analysis took place rigorously, through reading, to critically analyze the characteristics and content of the results of each study. From the related studies, we identified three categories, namely: the main disorders that occurred in the lactation process in the first six postpartum months, the nursing care provided by the Nurse and what the nurses can do in front of the nursing interventions, as well as their correction Through technical-scientific knowledge, underpinning inspection, correction and improvement actions, Brazilian nursing will efficiently attend to the mother-child binomial, regarding the disorders resulting from breastfeeding.
