Humanized vision and performance of the Obstetric Nursing Specialization course in normal childbirth

Abstract

Experience report regarding the vision and humanized performance of a student of the Obstetric Nursing Specialization course in normal childbirth. The aim of the study is to describe the assistance throughout the process of delivery and birth, so that readers are aware of this subject and future changes in the obstetric scenario to reduce the practice of high rates of interventions used routinely and improperly. . This is a descriptive narrative study of the experience report type, referring to the vision and humanized performance of a student of the Specialization Course in Obstetric Nursing in normal delivery in a public maternity, located in the Capital of São Paulo, SP - Brazil. . In my experience as a student of the Specialization Course in Obstetric Nursing in a public hospital in the Capital of São Paulo, I had the opportunity to follow and act in the different stages of normal delivery, as well as observe the cesarean section. Performing admission, physical and obstetric examination of parturients, guiding and providing support throughout the process of delivery and birth, aiming at a less painful delivery, providing a positive outcome to the mother-baby-family triad.
